Ali MacGraw
Elizabeth Alice MacGraw better known as Ali MacGraw is an award-winning American model, author, designer and animal rights activist. She has been acclaimed for films like Love Story (from 1970), Goodbye Columbus, (1969), and The Getaway, (1972). Growing up in a family of artists living in New York she wished to work in the field of art. When she was assistant to photographers, she turned her attention towards modeling and acting. She was awarded the Golden Globe Award in 1990 as an aspiring young actor. Her film MacGraw's Love Story from 1970 was one of the biggest hits that gained her fame worldwide in addition to being an Academy Award nominee and Golden Globe Award. With just three movies she was the highest-rated female box office actress in the entire world. In 1972, the Grauman's Chinese Theater recorded her signature as well as foot prints, hand prints, and footprints in the year 1972. Also, she appeared in The Getaway Convoy Players TV Miniseries The Winds of War, along with other films. In 1991, her autobiography Moving Pictures came out. MacGraw has married thrice.
