Pickler, who was born Kellie Dawn Pickler in June of 1986, went through an unhappy childhood. When Pickler was just 2, her mother ran away to protect her from an abusive family. Her mother returned in 1995 to her life and took complete control of her. It did not work out as planned. Pickler went back to her grandparents when she turned 12 years old. They helped her through to adulthood. Pickler had to be busy with her young children in absence of parents. Pickler admitted she didn't get enough time for school and began learning to become a housewife in the early years. Pickler played cheerleading in her high and middle schools. North Stanly High School, where she graduated in 2004, was her alma mater. Pickler is also a seasoned beauty queen. The title was Miss Stanly Country. Her roles included movies such as the horror movie Phenomena; the musical fantasy Labyrinth; the romantic comedy career Opportunities; and the superhero time-based film The Rocketeer.
